Concentrated Inspection Campaign on Emergency Systems and Procedures
A port State control Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) will be launched jointly by the Paris MoU and the Tokyo MoU on Emergency Systems and Procedures. This campaign shall be commencing on 1 September 2019 and will end on 30 November 2019.
The aim of the CIC is to ensure that ships are capable of responding appropriately and promptly to emergency situations in order to preserve human lives, protect the marine environment and minimise damages to ships.
The Malta flag administrators hold safety at sea as their utmost priority. The emphasis on safe and clean shipping has placed the Malta flag as a leader within the maritime industry and has laid the way for the Malta flag to become a reputable and internationally recognised ship register.
