Zia Hossen

Zia Hossen serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Head of Deal Advisory at KPMG Luxembourg. He also leads Restructuring Services within the firm. With over 30 years of international experience, Zia advises clients across various sectors on complex restructurings, transactions and transformations. He specializes in providing strategic and operational support to organizations undergoing change, including voluntary restructurings, solvent and insolvent liquidations, and the wind-down of financial institutions and corporates. As Head of Restructuring Services, Zia acts as an independent liquidator and provisional administrator for various entities across multiple sectors. His work encompasses regulatory and stakeholder management, financial and operational planning, and the execution of large-scale restructuring strategies.

As Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Zia oversees key aspects of the firm’s internal governance framework and strategic oversight, ensuring alignment with KPMG’s values, quality standards and long-term objectives.
