Julien is a Partner in Consulting and leads the Financial Risk Management practice at KPMG Luxembourg. Since joining the KPMG network in 2012, he has become a trusted adviser to Chief Risk Officers (CRO’s) and risk professionals across the financial sector, having progressed from a technical risk specialist to a strategic risk leader throughout his career.
In his role as Financial Risk Management lead, Julien supports banks and financial institutions in transforming their risk functions, enhancing risk frameworks and adapting processes to meet the demands of an evolving risk landscape. He assists clients across a range of risk domains, including credit, market and operational risk, as well as broader enterprise risk management (ERM).
Julien is also the Luxembourg point of contact for KPMG's Risk Transformation working groups – focusing on how banks in Europe adapt to become more effective and efficient - which gives him a broad perspective on market trends and how risk functions across Europe are evolving. His experience is further enhanced by supporting supervisory authorities during on-site inspections.
