Michael is a Partner at KPMG Luxembourg and heads the securitization audit practice within the Banking and Insurance sector. With 14 years of Financial Services experience, he leads audits and regulatory reviews for securitization vehicles, banks, professionals of the Financial Sector, management companies and AIFMs, and has deep expertise in IFRS and LUX‑GAAP (stand‑alone and consolidated) as well as in testing internal control systems. He also advises on the set‑up and initiation of securitization vehicles – covering structuring, accounting and regulatory matters and coordinating with tax, legal and operational specialists – and remains engaged throughout their lifecycle to connect clients with the right expertise. Michael is a Réviseur d’Entreprises Agréé (IRE – Luxembourg) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
