      Agenda and Sessions

      Day 1

      Time: 5.45 p.m – 6.15 p.m IST

      Panel 1

Mega panel on people metrics to business metrics: How HR leadership is navigating the future of work

Traditional HR metrics have long focused on hiring volumes, engagement scores, attrition, and training hours. Business leaders demand stronger evidence of HR’s contribution to growth and performance, the function must rethink what it measures and how it tells its story. The real question is no longer what HR has done, but how it has influenced productivity, profitability, innovation, and customer outcomes. From leveraging AI-powered analytics and predictive insights to identifying the workforce indicators that truly drive value, the discussion will examine how HR leaders can build measurement frameworks that position the function as a strategic driver of business outcomes.

      Key discussion points:

      • What does it take for HR to turn data into strategic decisions?
      • As organisations rethink performance, productivity, and workforce investments, which metrics will define HR’s value in the future?
      • What new strategic insights is HR technology unlocking for HR to better support business decisions?

      Day 2

      Time: 3.25 p.m – 3.45 p.m IST

      Panel 2

The flash talk -Is Productivity Becoming a Euphemism for ‘Do More With Less’

Every CHRO dashboard today has a productivity metric on it – and almost every organisation is asking employees to deliver more, often with flat or shrinking headcount, budgets, and bandwidth. The language of "productivity" has quietly absorbed a harder reality: doing more with less has become the operating norm, not the exception. This flash talk interrogates whether the productivity conversation in India Inc. is genuinely about enabling people to work smarter – or whether it has become a sanitised way to justify sustained pressure, invisible overtime, and quiet burnout. As AI enters the productivity equation, the stakes get sharper: are CHROs measuring output, or are they measuring endurance?

      Key discussion points:

      • What are organisations actually measuring output, hours, responsiveness, or genuine value creation?
      • AI tools promise to free up capacity, but is that capacity being reinvested in meaningful work, or immediately absorbed into higher targets?
      • How do CHROs distinguish healthy performance pressure from a culture quietly running on unsustainable effort?
      • Are leaders modeling sustainable productivity, or are they the ones setting the "more with less" tone from the top?
      • Is HR complicit in dressing up resource constraints as a productivity culture and what would it take to call that out internally?

      • What was once considered the domain of HR, including attrition, employee policies, engagement, and experience, is now a boardroom and business agenda. Workforce decisions today have a direct impact on growth, resilience, innovation, and competitiveness.

Driving this transformation are four major disruptive forces:

        • The rising tide of disruptive AI
        • Changing workforce expectations
        • Geopolitics and other black swan events
        • Increasing pressures on profitability and productivity
      • HR is at an inflection point. The CHRO of the future will not simply manage the workforce but shape the future of the organisation, understand business levers, own outcomes and translate people, technology and AI into tangible business value.

As AI, transformation and the future of work converge, roles such as the Chief AI Officer, Chief Transformation Officer and even Chief Futurist in residence will increasingly sit within the CHRO’s purview.

      • Scaling talent with purpose requires more than speed. It requires confidence in who you are bringing into the organisation. Effective due diligence helps identify the right talent, validate trust, and strengthen resilience from day one.

        • Effective employee screening must go beyond routine checks. Digital verification of credentials, documentation, and KYC processes can help ensure faster onboarding while meeting compliance and policy requirements.
        • Independant whistleblower and reporting channels. The earliest warnings of fraud, misconduct, and regulatory breaches almost always come from within the organisation. Investing in trusted speak-up mechanisms is not just good governance. It's smart risk management.

      • India Inc. is doubling down on growth, technology, and AI. The challenge is that returns are not keeping pace with the scale of investment.

The issue is not technology. It is how work flows through the organisation.

AI is implemented, but decisions still live in spreadsheets. Centres of Excellence exist, but accountability is often fragmented. Capacity has increased, but clarity has not.

      • Productivity cannot simply mean doing more with less; it must mean creating more value with greater intelligence.

As AI reshapes how work gets done, the real opportunity for leaders is to reinvest the capacity created into higher value work, innovation, and sustainable performance. The future of productivity is not about pushing people harder but designing work smarter.
