Jakarta – October 16, 2024

Given the increasing cyber threats and data breaches, the Digital Identity Team at KPMG Siddharta Advisory recently held a cyber security event aimed at empowering organizations to manage and secure real-time access to critical data and applications for all enterprise identities through a smart and unified approach.

Nahason Berlian, Senior Manager of Digital Identity at KPMG, represented the company and shared insights into the necessary preparations and benefits of implementing identity security within an organization. Eric Kong, representing SailPoint, also took the opportunity to discuss SailPoint’s role as a leading platform for identity security.

This event, a collaboration between KPMG Indonesia and SailPoint, one of KPMG's key alliance partners in identity solutions, also featured a KPMG client who shared a success story about the successful implementation of SailPoint’s Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) to the audience. KPMG Indonesia and SailPoint have been alliance partners for more than three years, and KPMG Indonesia was awarded the 2023 TOP New Logo Partner and 2023 Indonesia Best Partner awards.

The event was highly interactive, with KPMG and SailPoint exchanging concepts and knowledge in the field of identity security, followed by a Q&A session with the participants. It was an invaluable experience for both KPMG and SailPoint, as well as for the audience, who had the opportunity to hear firsthand testimonials from a client that had successfully implemented SailPoint’s IGA. The event concluded with a demonstration of the SailPoint platform, addressing common issues faced by enterprises. According to a survey conducted during the event, 28% of participants reported challenges in reviewing access rights, risks, and access violations for employees, while 23% cited difficulties in managing the employee lifecycle. This initiative aims to showcase how SailPoint can streamline employee lifecycle management, from onboarding to offboarding, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Through this collaboration, KPMG Indonesia and SailPoint aim to assist organizations in realizing sustainable identity security practices that support long-term cyber security resilience and operational efficiency.
