Michael is a Head of Turnaround and Restructuring, and Head of ESG Advisory for KPMG Indonesia’s Advisory Services - offering more than 30 years of Asia-Pacific experience. He has led teams for lenders and acted for developers, governments, borrowers, bond issuers, lenders and credit enhancers. He has been engaged in transactions throughout the region, with a particular focus on Indonesia, as well as North Asia, South Asia and Australia. His several positions in the market as senior financial institution executive and advisor, span across project, trade, structured and corporate finance, and regulatory, rating agency and governmental affairs.​

As the Head of ESG Advisory, he integrates ESG at the heart of the firm's service offerings. Michael has been leading the delivery of ESG projects in various sectors including banking, plantation, consumer and industrial products. With the focus on solutions in ESG Strategy, Transformation & Implementation and Reporting, Michael leads the team to ensure companies to create value from ESG.​
