Handrow is a Partner in Audit & Assurance Services and serves as the Head of Financial Services, Banking and Finance, and is the Investment Management Practice Leader for KPMG Indonesia. Handrow has been with KPMG for close to twenty years, having worked in both the New York and Indonesia offices. As the newly appointed Head of Financial Services for Indonesia, he brings his extensive expertise in audit, attestation, and advisory services to a diverse range of financial services companies, including investment and commercial banks, finance companies, fintech firms, insurance companies, and companies within the broker-dealer industry.

Handrow has experience in dealing with complex technical accounting topics, such as derivatives and hedge accounting, fair value measurement, loan loss reserves, the impairment of financial assets, insurance contracts, and intangible assets. He has also been extensively involved in the use of implementation and application queries for financial instruments. Handrow regularly presents and advises clients on issues arising from the new financial instrument accounting standards, IFRS 9.

Handrow maintains a strong focus on audit technology. He currently also leads initiatives around IT Audit, Digital Transformation, and Data Analytics (D&A) for the audit practice at KPMG Indonesia. He developed the audit D&A strategy for Indonesia and continues to lead the implementation of D&A in the audit department. Handrow is familiar with current and emerging trends in technology and works to identify, investigate, and assess technologies and innovations that have the potential to benefit audit and assurance practices in the future.
