David joined KPMG in the Crown Dependencies in 2023 from Jersey Finance, where he was Sustainable Finance Lead. In this role, he worked with industry stakeholders, policymakers, regulators, and sustainability experts to develop a sustainable finance strategy for Jersey as a finance centre. This resulted in the launch of a 10-year strategy aimed at building capacity and enhancing the enabling environment for sustainable finance whilst putting in place regulatory safeguards such as anti-greenwashing and disclosure rules. He represented the Island within international networks such as the UNDP-hosted Finance Centres for Sustainability (FC4S). Prior to taking on the Sustainable Finance Lead role, he worked closely with Jersey’s finance sector and Government to develop and implement new legislation and regulation to support growing sectors such as the Island’s alternative investment and real estate funds.
Prior to this, David trained as a lawyer and worked for a decade in debt capital markets and banking law.
