We have one internship programme running throughout the summer, in our audit, tax or advisory departments. The scheme is designed to equip you with the skills and experience needed to kickstart a career in financial services. You’ll be appointed a buddy as your direct contact to provide any advice and guidance you may need. If all goes well you could even land yourself a job offer!

Our previous interns have gone on to develop successful careers in audit, tax and advisory.

Your internship journey

Introduction
- Learn more about KPMG & what we do.
- Receive technical and business skills training that will get you underway during your internship.
- Get to know your follow interns and your buddies over a welcome lunch.
- Be introduced to the people you'll be working with during your internship.
Settling in
- Work with current KPMG trainees on various audit, tax or advisory assignments.
- Build your understanding of the business.
- Take part in some lunchtime activities (for example, make use of the pool-table or play Mario Kart).
- Join your fellow interns on a team building activity.
Learning
- Get feedback from your internship manager on your performance during the week.
- Learn more about KPMG's citizenship work.
- Be given some basic Excel training to help you on your way.
Showcase
- Prepare a presentation to be delivered to our panel on a business topic of your choise - you'll be given training on how to deliver an effective presentation.
- Attend a CV workshop and build your personal brand profile.
Feedback
- We welcome your feedback following your internship.
- You may then be invited to attend a final interview for either next year's internship or a training contract upon graduation / completion of A-levels (or equivalent).
