Development of Hong Kong-Shenzhen I&T Park
- Establish and bring forward the Steering Committee in planning the overall strategy and layout of the development of the Hong Kong Park
- Conclude the construction of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park gradually over the coming 5 years
- Publish the Development Outline of the Hong Kong Park within the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Co-operation Zone in 2024
- Conduct trail implementation of new innovative facilitation measures tailor-make for the Co-operation Zone, such as cross-boundary travel and fund transfer
Healthcare support in the GBA
- Extend the Elderly Health Care Voucher GBA Pilot Scheme to cover 9 Mainland cities in the GBA and share the cross-boundary medical records via the eHealth platform
- Enable the cross-boundary use of data and medical devices through the GBA Clinical Trial Collaboration Platform and the Real-World Study and Application Centre in Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Co-operation Zone to accelerate pharmaceutical development
- Alleviate the Residential Care Services Scheme in Guangdong by increasing the number of participating Residential Care Homes for the Elderly
Further collaboration within the GBA for mutual capacity development
- Collaborate with Dongguan Municipal Government to conclude the development of the HKIA Dongguan Logistics Park to reach 1 million tonnes per annum in cargo-handling capacity
- Enhance Fly-Via-Zhuhai-Hong Kong direct passenger service and the development of the international air-cargo business with joint effort from the Zhuhai Municipality
- Collaborate with Guangdong Province and Macao to establish GBA Standards on skill level for skilled workers in the construction sector with the “One Examination, Multiple Certification” Arrangement, and formulate GBA Construction Standards
- Streamline cross-boundary data flow in all sectors throughout the GBA
- Strive for the establishment of a GBA Legal Information Platform and a dedicated platform for GBA lawyers to facilitate professional exchange and training
- Extend the pilot arrangement to include graduates from the GBA campuses of Hong Kong universities under the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates
