The U.S. House of Representatives yesterday passed a bill (by a vote of 387-26) to reauthorize for five years (until September 30, 2028) the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs and activities, as well as fuel and ticket taxes funding the airport and airway trust fund—one week after it was passed by the Senate. The bill now goes to President Biden for his signature by May 17, 2024, which is the funding deadline for the agency.
