A decree was published in the office gazette on 6 June 2023 creating the Directorate for the Registry of Specialized Service Providers or Specialized Works (REPSE).

The REPSE was initially established in February 2023 and requires that certain specialized service providers or companies providing specialized works provide certain documentation to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS). Read TaxNewsFlash

The Directorate will have the following powers:

  • Manage and operate the REPSE
  • Publish the updates of the companies providing services and execution of specialized works
  • Issue administrative acts in relation to registrations, modifications, renewals, and refusals to natural or legal persons
  • Supervise and directly verify compliance with the labor subcontracting regime of service providers and beneficiaries
  • Propose modifications to the general provisions that determine the procedures and operation of the REPSE
  • Require information and documentation from natural or legal persons who request their registration as providers of specialized services, as well as from the companies that benefit from said services
