General provisions for the registry of specialized service providers or specialized works

The general provisions for the Registry of Specialized Service Providers or Specialized Works (Repse) were published in the official gazette on 3 February 2023, and are effective 4 February 2023.

Under the provisions, as part of the registration with the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), the following documentation must be provided:

  • Last proof of the Single Determination System (SUA) issued by the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), in PDF format
  • Last payroll statement, in PDF format

The STPS may at any time request additional documentation to corroborate the information from the companies benefiting from the services or specialized works, in all the work centers where natural or legal persons registered with the Repse are operating, to ensure compliance with the regime regulating the subcontracting of specialized services.
