The UK Government announced in the Spring Budget a new Foreign Income and Gains Regime (FIG) that will affect how internationally mobile employees are taxed. This will be a big change, and employers need to be prepared.

In this video, Mike Lavan, Director - Global Mobility and Employment Taxes, KPMG in the UK, explores three things you need to think about as a tax, mobility or HR leader in light of the potentially major changes coming to the UK's taxation of internationally mobile employees:

  • How will you stay informed about the development of the proposed regime?
  •  How will you communicate these changes to your non-UK domiciled employees?
  • How will you adjust your talent planning and mobility programs?

If you would like more information on any of these points or wish to explore the impact of the proposed changes on your circumstances, please get in touch.
