Since November 2019, he has been serving as a Partner in the Capital and Debt Advisory department at KPMG Türkiye.
Görkem began his career as a civil engineer in business development and later continued in project management. In 2013, he joined Akbank as a Project Finance Loans Manager, and in 2018, he continued his career within a Big Four firm as a Senior Manager.
He has extensive experience in project finance, corporate and structured lending, real estate finance, financial modeling, investment and credit analysis, and financial restructuring.
