He has over 10 years of experience in the financial services sector, including 18 months in New York. His client portfolio mainly consists of banks and other financial institutions operating both domestically and internationally.
He has prepared IAS training materials (particularly IAS 39, IAS 32, and IFRS 7) and delivered these trainings to auditors of the Capital Markets Board and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency.
He has experience in Turkish accounting practices and CMB Financial Reporting Standards, as well as IFRS and US GAAP. He has also provided advisory services on hedge accounting (Fair Value Hedge and Cash Flow Hedge).
He serves as the Financial Services Sector Leader at KPMG Türkiye.
