He joined KPMG in 2008 and he is working in KPMG Türkiye as Tax Partner. He is leading Indirect Tax Services and Tax Certification Services. Yavuz Öner joined to Finance Ministry as an Assistant Inspector of Finance in 1992. He was promoted as Finance Inspector in 1995 and as Chief Inspector of Finance in 2002. He also worked as VAT Group Manager in İzmir Tax Office from 2005 to 2008. He has experience mainly in energy, transportation and automotive sectors. He gave lectures on Tax Law in Ege University (2007) and Bilkent University MBA Class.
