Sertug started working as a Sustainability Advisory Partner at KPMG Türkiye as of 2024. Before joining KPMG, he started his career as an auditor at a consullary advisory firm and worked on the creation, implementation and dissemination of Financial and Non-Financial Risk Models within the framework of international ISO, COSO, COBIT standards in major Banking, Insurance and Fintech companies in Türkiye. In addition, he has been particularly involved in the creation of Sustainability, ESG, Business Continuity Management and Information Security Monitoring systems in the last 5 years. Sertug has approximately 18 years of experience, more than 16 of which are on ESG, ESG Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management.
He took part as a project leader and controller in consultancy projects carried out in the Holding Companies, Automotive, Telecommunication, Finance, Energy and Tourism sectors. Sertug provides training in the fields of Corporate Risk Management, ESG Risk Management and Sustainability in training programs organized with the sponsorship of various associations and universities..
