Oytun Önder serves as the Partner in charge of Fraud Prevention, Investigation, Commercial Disputes, and Compliance Advisory Services at KPMG Türkiye. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University and began his professional career as a civil engineer before transitioning to the professional services sector in 2008. To date, he has led numerous fraud investigations, domestic and international commercial dispute advisory engagements, compliance (anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and competition) investigations, and insurance claim review projects. He has prepared expert opinions in judicial proceedings related to commercial disputes and fraud cases, acted as an expert witness in international commercial and investment arbitrations, and defended his expert reports both in writing and orally before arbitration tribunals. He has carried out various advisory projects in many countries, including the United States, Russia, France, Greece, Romania, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Albania, Moldova, and Cyprus. He has extensive experience across a wide range of industries, particularly construction, tourism, retail, media and entertainment, healthcare, manufacturing, sports clubs, and telecommunications.
