He started his career at KPMG Türkiye in 2006. He has worked with numerous local and international companies and has comprehensive knowledge of accounting practices in Türkiye, Capital Markets Board (CMB) Financial Reporting Standards, as well as IFRS and US GAAP. Throughout his career, he has been involved in projects managing 144A and Reg-S processes. His extensive sectoral experience includes construction, manufacturing, defense industry, technology and media, energy, oil, gas, and mining. Between 2012 and 2014, Ölmez served as a part-time lecturer at Bilkent University’s Faculty of Business Administration, teaching audit courses.
