Uluç Ener began his career in 1997 at the Tax Department of Arthur Andersen. In 2002, he was appointed as a Manager in Arthur Andersen’s Strategic Tax Advisory Department and subsequently continued in this role at Ernst & Young Strategic Tax Advisory Department. Between 2003 and 2004, Ener served as a Senior Manager in the Tax Department of KPMG, and in 2004 he joined Erdikler Taxand as a Senior Tax Manager, becoming a Partner in 2006. As of January 1, 2019, he assumed the role of Partner in the Tax Department of KPMG Türkiye, and since October 1, 2023, he has been serving as the Lead Partner of the Accounting and Financial Advisory Services Department at KPMG Türkiye. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous tax, international structuring, and international taxation training programs and seminars both domestically and abroad. At the firms where he has worked, he has provided audit and advisory services to domestic and foreign-capital companies operating in the manufacturing, services, and financial sectors, covering areas such as group restructurings, tax planning, tax audits, international tax advisory, due diligence and diagnostic review studies, inbound and outbound investments, mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing, and structuring and tax advisory for real estate projects. He has also prepared expert reports in international arbitration cases and testified as an expert in international arbitration proceedings. He currently manages accounting and financial advisory projects delivered to numerous international and local companies.
