KPMG has been awarded the top score in an international study of brand recognition among Energy & Resources consulting firms conducted by Source Global Research.
In a global survey of 238 energy and resources clients and prospects, KPMG ranked top for aided awareness. The study, carried out by Source Global Research, asked participants to select three brands from a list of the world's top 15 consulting organizations that they would be most comfortable talking about in more detail. Each organization was then also scored on how quickly it takes to fill a quota of responses.
The research is seen as a key measurement of brand recognition, with KPMG steadily rising from ninth in 2018 to third in 2020 and first this year.
It's incredibly reassuring to see KPMG's brand recognition steadily rise over the years to the number one spot. KPMG's global work in the energy and resources space is more vital than ever before. KPMG firms are supporting clients across utilities, oil and gas, chemicals and mining at a time when energy transition and the climate crisis is creating both significant challenge and opportunity for the industry.
KPMG teams across the world have some of the brightest minds and best experience and it's empowered local firms to develop new strategies, improve operating models and efficiency, and strive to consistently deliver the highest level of customer and investor value at a time of pivotal change.
I'm incredibly proud of the recognition from Source Global Research. It's clear evidence that what we're doing right now is cutting through in the marketplace. With the arrival of COP26 in November and an ever-increasing global consensus on climate commitments, the industry's leaders can rely on KPMG firms to ready them for the future of energy.
