Singapore, 25 November 2024 – The 30th Enterprise 50 (E50) Awards recognised and celebrated fifty local enterprises in Singapore for their innovation and grit today. Themed “Celebrating Legacies and Inspiring the Future”, this twin focus ensures that we keep sight of not only the past and current winners in our midst; it also motivates others to emulate and exceed their achievements – and reinforces the need to look ahead. The 30th E50 Awards ceremony was held at Resorts World Convention Centre. Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Heng Swee Keat was the Guest-of-Honour.
Jointly organised by The Business Times (BT) and KPMG in Singapore, the top three awards were presented to Choon Huat Engineering, Maneuver Marketing and Supreme Components International for their following achievements:
- 1st place: Choon Huat Engineering for being at the forefront of promoting sustainability within the construction industry. It has invested in greener alternatives such as electric forklifts that reduce emissions and noise pollution. This initiative reflects the company's broader commitment to eco-friendly practices, and its aim to contribute to more productive and healthier work environments.
- 2nd place: Maneuver Marketing for specialising in e-commerce brands focused on health and wellness. The company has distinguished itself by building, operating, and scaling its own brands, and has achieved remarkable success without external funding.
- 3rd place: Supreme Components International for enabling original equipment manufacturers, contract electronics manufacturers, and resellers to connect and obtain near-instant access to electronic components. The company has helped progressive high-technology electronic and LED enterprises to design and procure the best components for nearly 20 years, building world-class electronics, lighting equipment and luminaries, as well as Internet of Things/artificial intelligence systems.
Four Special Awards were presented to five companies:
- Sing Fuels Pte Ltd was conferred the Special Recognition Award - Internationalisation for being the leading specialist in the trading of marine fuels and lubricants, and providing shipping support services to ship owners, charterers, and traders in the bunkering sector.
- Elitez Group won the Special Recognition Award- Sustainability Innovation for addressing manpower gaps in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. The company provided manpower for retail and promotional activities, eventually becoming the leading agency in the FMCG sector.
- ITCAN Pte Ltd received the Ten-Year Award for receiving the E50 awards for ten years.
- Almarc Engineering and Khaitan International received the Five-Year Award for being an E50 awardee for five years.
