Ajay Kumar Sanganeria

Ajay is the Head of Tax at KPMG in Singapore, and has over 20 years of professional experience with more than 15 years in Singapore.

Ajay specialises in Corporate and International Tax consulting and compliance. He has used his expertise to help many clients in industries to maximise value and achieve tax efficiency in their cross-border investments as well as supply chains and intellectual property structuring to align tax, legal and operating models during business transformation.

Ajay maintains a close working relationship with Government agencies including EDB, A*star, Enterprise Singapore amongst others and helps companies to tap on various schemes administered by these agencies to support companies in Singapore. He has extensive experience in dealing with tax authorities with regards to resolving tax issues and obtaining advance rulings for upfront certainty on tax issues.

Many clients have leveraged Ajay’s expertise to obtain tax incentives from relevant authorities in relation to their headquarters, manufacturing, trading, finance and treasury centre set up in Singapore. Ajay is regularly called upon to be a speaker at tax seminars and has contributed numerous articles and commentaries to the media on current and topical tax-related issues.
