On 2 April an exclusive ESG workshop was held for the members of the CFO Association of Serbia. The name of this workshop was “Carbon accounting – Frist step towards a successful missions management”. Our colleagues Nina Mihajlović, Jovan Šljivić and Uroš Milosavljević pointed out the challenges and opportunities in emissions management, the implications of the upcoming ESG regulations that are applicable in our country and the EU. They emphasized the importance of timely establishment of an adequate system of monitoring and reporting on emissions.
Workshop participants had many questions about the importance of carbon accounting, similarities and differences between organizational carbon footprint, product carbon footprint and CBAM. We tested their knowledge in an interactive and fun way. During the cocktail following the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to share experiences, challenges, and good practices of companies operating in Serbia.
