KPMG is a proud supporter of the Dutch startup ecosystem

The Netherlands is home to a vibrant, collaborative startup ecosystem and KPMG is proud to be part of it. For years, KPMG has been closely connected with startups and scaleups, supporting some of the most iconic Dutch companies like Adyen, Booking.com and Otrium in their growth.

In 2016, KPMG became a founding partner of tech-hub TNW Spaces together with Google, ABN AMRO and Booking.com. Since then, many more collaborations with leading incubators, accelerators, hubs and programs have followed, extending KPMG’s support for startups and scaleups throughout the ecosystem and the Netherlands.

By hosting regular events, office hours, and workshops with these organizations, we make KPMG’s knowledge and expertise accessible for startups and scaleups. We’re also proud to collaborate on the Dutch Startup Report – a quarterly report that provides insight into current trends in the Dutch ecosystem.

KPMG Global Tech Innovator Competition

The Global Tech Innovator is an annual competition to identify and celebrate the world’s most innovative startups and scaleups. Kicking off with national competitions in 25 countries, the winners from each country compete in the global final in Lisbon during the Web Summit.

On 14 June 2023, we hosted the Dutch Tech Innovator competition to find the company that will represent the Netherlands in the global final. Six exciting companies pitched to a live audience and expert jury, sharing their story and ambitions.

The winner of the Dutch Tech Innovator 2023 is inPhocal: a deeptech company from Eindhoven that has developed a unique laser beam technology that makes product marking not only more efficient, but also better for the planet. Find out more about inPhocal here.
