LAGOS (Nigeria) - In a bold move to harness the opportunities and address the growing challenges presented by the cryptocurrency market, KPMG in Nigeria and Ghana have announced a strategic agreement with Chainalysis, the blockchain data platform. This collaboration seeks to provide in-depth cryptocurrency investigation and compliance advisory and solutions to Financial Institutions (FIs) and Virtual Assets Service Providers (VASPs) in Nigeria and Ghana in order to assist them in detecting and preventing illicit activities related to cryptocurrency.
