KPMG in Malta has announced the appointment of Jonathan Dingli as its new Head of Advisory, effective 1 April 2026, succeeding David Pace who assumed the role of Senior Partner in October 2025.
Jonathan is a Partner within KPMG in Malta’s Advisory function and currently co-leads the Corporate Accounting Advisory Services (CAAS) team, the firm’s largest advisory unit. He has over 20 years of experience in the accountancy profession and in his current role as an IFRS specialist, he advises a wide portfolio of local and international clients on financial reporting matters to ensure they comply with the requirements of IFRS. He is also the firm’s ESG Reporting lead, helping clients comply with the requirements of the CSRD and ESRSs.
Jonathan leads the KPMG Learning Academy and is responsible for its strategic direction. He is also involved in the delivery of several financial reporting courses under the IFRS learning suites umbrella. He has over 15 years lecturing experience, lecturing on advanced financial reporting to Master in Accountancy students at the University of Malta.
In September 2025, Jonathan was also elected as President of the Malta Institute of Accountants, the only recognised professional accountancy body in Malta.
