KPMG Learning Academy Launches Certified Internal Auditor Course

KPMG Learning Academy, the training arm of KPMG in Malta, has launched a new Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) course, supporting professionals who aspire to achieve the only globally recognised certification for internal auditors.

The programme is designed to equip participants with a strong command of The IIA’s Global Internal Audit Standards™, enabling them to lead internal audit engagements in line with international best practices, assess governance, risk, and controls, and deliver value-driven audit insights.

The CIA course represents a global benchmark of excellence in internal auditing. Ideal for internal auditors, audit managers, risk and compliance professionals, finance professionals, consultants, and aspiring internal auditors, the CIA qualification enhances professional credibility, career progression, and earning potential.

KPMG Learning Academy has partnered with Gleim, a global leader in exam preparation, to provide participants with comprehensive study resources, personalised academic guidance, expert support, and technical assistance throughout their CIA certification journey.

Candidates pursuing the CIA certification can choose between two enrolment options. The Premium SET provides comprehensive coverage of all three CIA exam parts. Alternatively, those who prefer to progress one section at a time may select the Premium Part option, which offers individual courses for each exam part.

Qualified professionals, such as holders of MIA, ACCA, CA, CISA, and other recognised accounting designations, may instead take the CIA Challenge Exam, which serves as an accelerated pathway compared to the traditional three-part exam.

Delivered fully online and available on demand, the course can also be delivered to organisations through KPMG Learning Academy’s Corporate Training Solutions, enabling participants to learn at their own pace and convenience.
