David joined KPMG in Malta in 1989 and was admitted as a Partner in 2003. He retired as a Partner in September 2024 and is presently a Consultant within the Firm. During this period, he formed part of the Firm’s Advisory Services and for a number of years led the Firm’s Deal Advisory and Accounting Advisory Service teams. He was the Firm’s Quality and Risk Management and Ethics and Independence Partner from January 2011 till March 2024. During his tenure as a Quality and Risk Management Partner, he was also the Compliance Principal in terms of the Accountancy Profession Act (CAP 281), as well as the Firm’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). David is a valuation specialist and has extensive experience in valuation engagements, as well as in providing technical assistance relating to valuations for financial reporting purposes, including impairment reviews and valuation / fairness opinions. Over the years, he has been involved in and / or responsible for a number of engagements, including those involving the raising of finance, financial due diligence, and advising on financial strategy.
