Carlos joined KPMG in Malta in 2015 as an audit team member and successfully completed his ACCA qualification in June 2018. He is an accountant by profession and is currently a Director within the Audit practice, specialising in Private Enterprise engagements.
During his career at KPMG, Carlos gained extensive experience leading and overseeing audits of entities operating across a variety of industries within the private enterprise sector, including a number of local family‑owned businesses, companies forming part of large international groups, and companies listed on the Malta Stock Exchange.
He plays an active role in supporting the professional growth and performance development of audit staff and contributes to the firm’s people development agenda. He also acts as the local representative on ACCA’s International Assembly, supporting the profession at an international level.
Carlos is also involved in local business development activities, contributing to the continued growth of the firm’s client base in Malta.
