      Orlanda is an Economist by profession, with vast experience within the management consultancy industry, specialising in providing economic advisory across economics, public policy, and strategy streams at KPMG. Particularly interested in matters concerning the environment, notably climate change and sustainability, health services, the arts, and social and cultural issues. Her area of expertise includes macro-economic assessments, cost-benefit analyses, economic impact assessments, national strategy formulation, and market studies. She has advised public and private sector clients across R&I, education, transport, environment, and health sectors, amongst others. She is also experienced in sustainability-related offerings, as linked to carbon footprint assessments and materiality assessments. Throughout her career and studies, she has also undertaken research assignments at the University of Bologna and a UK-based economics consultancy, specialising in Lifecycle Analysis (LCA), and quantification of returns to higher education in the UK, respectively. Orlanda has also held various public speaking roles, discussing Malta’s economic outlook and matters of economic importance, as well as provided training sessions on entrepreneurship and finance in collaboration with MCAST, JAYE Foundation, and GEMMA. She also regularly contributes to local newspapers and magazines to provide insight on different economic and sustainability matters.
