This report is a continuation of our Kuwait-focused banking publications and offers a comparative analysis of the financial performance of Kuwait’s nine listed commercial banks for the quarter ended 31 March 2026 compared with the quarter ended 31 March 2025.
The analysis is based on eight key performance indicators (KPIs) that we have identified to assess the financial performance of Kuwait’s banking sector. These are: (1) total assets; (2) net profit; (3) share price; (4) return on equity; (5) return on assets; (6) cost-to-income ratio; (7) loans by stage; and (8) non-performing loan ratio.
