Prashant is a chartered accountant having 23 years of experience in areas such as Mergers & Acquisitions, corporate restructuring, capital structuring, due diligence and Cross Border Taxation. He is extensively involved with several group across U.S. and Europe for cross border M&A and restructuring.
Prior to joining KPMG in India, Prashant worked in the tax and M&A practice of RSM & Co., EY and PwC. Prashant has corporate restructuring advisory and implementation experience for multi-national and domestic clients over a wide range of industries like industrial and consumer market, manufacturing, liquor, pharma, oil and gas, power, technology, telecom, entertainment, etc.
Prashant has been engaged as a Partner for over 11 years. He has been actively working in India-Europe corridor for the last 4 years and is now heading the corridor at the firm level.
In this capacity he has been an advisor to leading U.S. and Europe fortune 100 companies.
He has been advising on wide gamut of tax and regulatory issues involving trust structures, inbound/outbound investments, etc. for promoter groups, Indian and foreign corporates etc.
Prashant continues to be an active participant in panel discussions, tax seminars conducted by various professional institutions and is a regular contributor of news articles to leading business media outlets. He has also been a member of several industry bodies such as ClI, FICCI, Assocham, etc, and an active speaker at IGCC, SICC.
