Successful entrepreneurs today need to be more agile, faster and more forward-thinking than ever before. For the Global Female Leaders Outlook 2025, we asked female managers worldwide which personality traits lead them to success. The result: key factors are hard work, leadership quality, strategic thinking and high personal ambition.

Nine out of ten
respondents

Nine out of ten respondents anticipate an increase in sales revenue over the next three years.

Social media as a success factor for 74%

74% of female managers consider their presence on social media to be a key success factor. At the same time, however, this visibility also harbours risks. Many of those surveyed report that they have already been victims of digital violence, but usually react pragmatically - with a clear stance and resilience.

Change of investment course

Corporate investment priorities have shifted: two years ago, the focus was on employee development. Today, the acquisition and implementation of new technologies, especially generative artificial intelligence, are at the top of the list.

Slowed progress
towards equality

Progress towards equality is slowing down. When we asked top managers about the development of diversity, gender equality, and inclusion, they confirmed this trend. It's a warning signal that companies should take seriously.
