“I joined KPMG in 2021, after spending fifteen years in the insurance industry. As Actuarial & Insurance Services Director, my role is twofold: leading the actuarial team to ensure quality, rigor, and integrity in our actuarial audit work, while also acting as an insurance expert in complex advisory engagements where technical depth, practical judgment, and sector expertise must come together.
What I enjoy most about the insurance industry is that it remains highly people-centric and constantly evolving. The pace of change creates both challenges and continuous opportunities to learn, grow, and innovate. Especially within an organization like KPMG, every day brings a new challenge to solve, a new perspective to consider, and a new opportunity to help clients and teams evolve and improve.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is translating complex technical matters into clear and practical business value. Building models and interpreting data are important, but the real impact comes when clients fully understand the implications and can make confident decisions based on them. Achieving this requires more than technical expertise; it depends on clear communication, openness, and trust.
Early in my career, while working in the Lloyd’s market, I realized that beyond the market’s deep technical expertise, global reach, and strong risk-sharing capabilities, its real strength lies in its people-driven ecosystem and the trusted relationships that support it. That experience shaped the way I approach my work today.
