"I have been a member of KPMG since 2022, and I have come to realize that what has shaped my journey the most so far is not only the knowledge and experience I have gained, but above all the people I work with on a daily basis.
When I first joined the company in my initial HR role, I was looking for an environment that would give me space to learn, grow, and feel part of a team. From day one, I felt that I had found exactly that. The support, guidance, and trust I received from my colleagues helped me adapt quickly to my role and develop professionally.
After approximately 2.5 years in the Athens office, I decided to relocate to the Thessaloniki office, returning to the city where I grew up and to a more familiar daily routine. This change gave me the opportunity to meet a new group of people and continue developing through new collaborations and experiences. From the very beginning, I felt the same warm and supportive atmosphere that I had experienced in Athens, which made me appreciate even more the power of collaboration and mutual support.
As a Training Specialist, my daily work is closely connected to the learning and development of our people within the organization. I coordinate training initiatives and actively participate in organizing wellbeing activities that enhance engagement and teamwork. What fulfills me most in my role is being able to contribute meaningfully to creating a positive employee experience - whether through a training initiative or through activities that strengthen connection and collaboration across teams. Being based in the Thessaloniki office has given me the opportunity to take a more active role in these initiatives and see firsthand how they bring people closer together and reinforce team spirit.
For me, the true value of a team is reflected in everyday interactions - in the way people collaborate, support one another, and grow together. This is the most important lesson I have taken from my journey at KPMG so far."
