"My passion for the field of tax law began to develop during the third year of my studies and remains just as strong to this day. What keeps my interest alive is the constantly evolving nature of the tax environment, which keeps you alert and leaves no room for stagnation. At the same time, it is an inherently interactive field, as the Greek tax framework is continuously influenced by and interconnected with the international environment and foreign legislation, making the work even more meaningful and dynamic.
A significant part of my day-to-day work involves collaborating with colleagues from different departments, both in Greece and abroad. I believe that patience and the willingness to understand the particularities of each stakeholder contribute substantially to effective communication and, ultimately, to ensuring the quality of the final deliverable.
What I enjoy most is contributing to the smooth implementation of complex projects and delivering outcomes that are both technically sound and practically valuable for the client. At the same time, supporting the team and sharing knowledge are equally important to me, as they play a key role both in people’s development and in the overall improvement of the quality of the services we provide.
Throughout this process, I consider clarity to be especially important, particularly in complex and demanding situations. Being able to ‘translate’ complexity into understandable steps and provide a clear direction makes a meaningful difference and strengthens the sense of trust among the people around you.
One important lesson I learned early on, and which still guides me today, is not to allow difficulties to affect my mindset and, consequently, the quality of my work.
Perhaps that is why the ‘small moments’ are often the ones that bring the greatest sense of fulfillment: when a client gains a clear understanding of a complex issue, when a team works effectively under pressure, or when a complicated matter results in a clear and well-substantiated solution. These are the moments that remind me of the value of my work."
