“Coming from a company where my focus was solely on Internal Audit, I never imagined how interesting and dynamic my journey in the Quality & Risk Management department would become. When I joined KPMG in 2024, I was excited to take on a new professional challenge, but I quickly realized that the role would offer far more variety and learning opportunities than I had initially expected.
What makes this role especially exciting for me is the diversity of responsibilities and the fact that no two days are ever the same. Being involved in a wide range of tasks keeps my work both challenging and engaging, while also allowing me to constantly broaden my knowledge and perspective. The role continuously exposes me to new situations and challenges, giving me the opportunity to learn, adapt, and grow both professionally and personally.
One of the most valuable lessons I have learned throughout my experience is that identifying potential risks or weaknesses is only one part of the role. Equally important is the ability to communicate findings in a clear, constructive, and practical way. Collaboration is also at the heart of everything we do. Working closely with different teams and understanding their perspectives enables us to achieve stronger outcomes and develop solutions that are both effective and practical.
Overall, I strongly believe that being part of a function that supports quality, strengthens processes, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement gives real purpose and meaning to the work I do every day.”
