As Global & EMA Lead for Sustainability Reporting Advisory and Head of Sustainability at KPMG Germany, I support companies in implementing regulatory requirements and in the strategic development of sustainability issues and their sustainability reporting. My focus is on providing advice on the CSRD, the EU Taxonomy, international standards such as the TCFD and the ISSB, and the necessary infrastructure for data collection. I view ESG as both a significant opportunity and a risk driver for companies’ business success.
I support multinational companies in designing and implementing effective corporate governance structures – from risk and compliance management through internal control systems to internal audit. I have been working in this field for almost 20 years and bring with me in-depth experience from capital market-oriented projects, including IPOs.
As a chartered accountant and tax adviser, as well as Managing Director of KPMG Cert GmbH, I also specialise in the audit of management systems in accordance with ISO standards and in audits conducted in accordance with ISAE and IDW auditing standards. My aim is to work with my clients to create sustainable, efficient and robust governance structures – practical, solution-oriented and always with a clear focus on their individual challenges.
