Finance expert Pavla Křečková joins KPMG Legal

The KPMG Legal team is joined by Pavla Křečková, previously a partner at law firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang, advokáti, v.o.s. With her, one of the legal business’s most prominent women will be in charge of KPMG Legal’s services for the banking and finance sector. At the same time, she will oversee the legal services provided to real estate sector clients.  

Pavla has been working in the legal services sector for more than 20 years. She has repeatedly ranked among the top 100 most important women of the Czech and Slovak legal services sector. In the Legal 500 survey, she was mentioned as an outstanding senior lawyer providing services to the banking and finance sector. At KPMG Legal, she will serve as the Head of Banking, Finance and Real Estate.  

Pavla focuses on debt financing and has extensive experience in all other kinds of financing (above all, real estate, acquisition, and project financing). Furthermore, she specialises on cross-border transactions mainly in the CEE region and Slovakia.

She also has experience in providing advisory services on credit portfolio sales and loan and corporate restructuring and has advised financial institutions on acquisition transactions. She has participated in various real estate transactions, mainly sales and purchases of commercial real properties (both in form of asset deals and share deals), including legal due diligence, and negotiations of lease agreements, contracts for work done, and real estate administration agreements.

Before joining CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang, Pavla worked at Weil Gotshal & Manges. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague and holds a certificate from a business law course at the University of Padua in Italy.
