The legal offices of KPMG Legal, member of KPMG’s global network of member firms, have appointed a new director. This senior management position is now held by Viktor Dušek, who has been with the firm since 2013 and who advised one of the largest foreign investments in Czech history.
"In my new role, I want to focus more on further developing relationships with our clients, especially Korean and Japanese investors, with whom I have been working since I joined KPMG Legal. My goal is also to strengthen KPMG Legal’s position among Moravian clients and to increase our presence on the local legal services market," says Dušek.
"At a time of increasing regulation, I see great potential in compliance, where we have unique know-how thanks to our cooperation with our colleagues from Germany or Scandinavia, where compliance is given more emphasis than here. Unlike traditional law firms, we can also offer end-to-end solutions to complex issues that cross over into other areas outside of law. Finally, we want to be natural market leaders in the development and use of LegalTech tools," he adds.
