KPMG Academy

More than 660 seminars, 8 conferences, more than 150 speakers and 14,660 attendees reveal the Academy’s success in numbers, since 2009.

Launched in April 2009, the KPMG Academy - the first initiative of its kind in Cyprus - was developed as a separate line of service to utilise the professional and academic expertise of KPMG Cyprus in order to turn this knowledge into value for the benefit of the clients of KPMG in Cyprus and the society.

Services

Training Services

The Academy organises open and in-house seminars, as well as international conferences addressing a wide range of areas that aim to leverage the participants’ expertise and keep them up to date with the latest developments of their field. Moreover, in 2020-2021 Academy launched a series of online training services including webinars, eLearning courses, LMS development and administration services.

All of our trainings may contribute to Continuing Professional Development requirements and many of them are approved by the Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA).

The Academy collaborates with experts, who possess robust technical and soft skills, from KPMG in Cyprus and the broader network of KPMG, professionals from other successful companies and academics from both Cyprus and abroad. Most of our trainers have been certified by the HRDA as Vocational Trainers.

As of October 2013, the Academy offers a series of specialised seminars following the CySEC's decision to enforce a directive which requires from all certified persons in the public register to attend professional training courses.

Advisory Services

In addition to the above noted training services, the Academy provides advisory services such as: training needs analysis, learning maps, market research on available training courses/certificates, guidance to organisations on setting-up an L&D/Academy department.
