Background information
On 16 August 2019, Ryan Eagle and Philip Quinlan of KPMG were appointed as Joint and Several Administrators (the Administrators) of Sphere Healthcare Pty Ltd and Tabco Pty Ltd (the Group).
At the second meeting of creditors on 19 November 2019 creditors voted in favour of the Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) proposed by GMP Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd (GMP). The DOCA was executed by both parties on 4 December 2019 and Ryan Eagle and Philip Quinlan were appointed as Deed Administrators.
The Group entered into an interim management deed with GMP on 4 December 2019, which provided that from 10 December 2019 GMP assumed full management of the Group’s day to day business pending completion of the DOCA.
The DOCA completed on 13 December 2019 and GMP are now in control of the Group.
