Alison Gartrell is a partner in the Project & Program Delivery team within KPMG’s Infrastructure, Assets & Places division.

As a civil engineer and executive professional, Alison has over 20 years of experience spanning construction, consulting engineering and advisory roles. She has a passion for social infrastructure projects and enhancing the communities we live in.

Alison has extensive experience managing and delivering complex high-value / high-risk projects in the health and education sectors as well as leading the development of masterplans and feasibility studies for hospital and tertiary education precincts.

Alison generates high-performing team environments and initiates the development and implementation of robust yet practical project controls and delivery methodology for major projects and programs ensuring transparency and strong governance to manage cost, program, contract and risk.

In 2023, Alison joined KPMG as a partner. Prior to KPMG, Alison held the role of Victorian Social Infrastructure sector lead for a major engineering firm.
