22 May 2026, Hong Kong (SAR), China (“Hong Kong”) – Around 180 members of business and professional community gathered for the 22nd Annual KPMG & BritCham Rugby Dinner, raising HKD420,000 in support of HandsOn Hong Kong.
The event, held in partnership between KPMG and the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, has become a highlight of the Hong Kong Sevens weekend, uniting leaders, clients, and community partners in a shared commitment to social impact.
Funds raised at this year’s dinner will enable HandsOn Hong Kong to further its mission of mobilising volunteers and empowering communities across the city, addressing social needs and strengthening support for underserved groups.
Through the annual KPMG & BritCham Rugby Dinner, KPMG partners with the community to create positive change. This event exemplifies our belief in collaboration and its power to drive meaningful social impact. LIVE, WORK, PLAY, LEARN — that has been the message the British Chamber of Commerce has championed over the past year. And PLAY was very much the theme of the evening at our 22nd KPMG & BritCham Rugby Dinner. Guests came for the speakers, they came for the curry, but most importantly they came together to raise vital funds for our wonderful charity partner, HandsOn Hong Kong. Thank you.
Nothing beats the ‘Lion Rock spirit’, and the energy in the room at this year’s Rugby Dinner was a perfect reminder of how community-minded this city is. We are incredibly grateful to our partners at KPMG and BritCham for making HandsOn part of this 22-year old pre-Sevens tradition. This generous donation of HKD420,000 comes at a critical time as the need for connection in our city continues to grow. These funds will be instrumental in enabling us to mobilise thousands of volunteers to connect with and uplift Hong Kong’s most vulnerable groups.
