KPMG Pledges HK$1 Million to Support Tai Po Fire Victims, Mobilises Volunteer Efforts

28 November 2025, Hong Kong (SAR), China (“Hong Kong”) – KPMG today announced an initial donation of HK$1,000,000 from the KPMG Foundation to the "Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po" established by the HKSAR government. This pledge underscores KPMG's commitment to providing immediate relief and long-term support to those affected by the tragic fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po.

"The devastating fire at Wang Fuk Court has deeply saddened us all," said Jacky Zou, Chairman of KPMG in China. "Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and everyone impacted by this tragedy."

KPMG is actively exploring additional avenues to support the community, including engaging with NGOs providing on-the-ground emergency assistance and evaluating opportunities for mid- to long-term community restoration. In a testament to the firm's compassionate culture, over 100 KPMG colleagues have already volunteered to offer their support. The volunteer team stands ready to provide assistance as opportunities arise.
