      About Quadrant Private Equity (Quadrant)

Quadrant Private Equity (Quadrant) is one of the leading Australasian private equity firms with a track record of successful investments since its inception in 1996 and has extensive healthcare investment experience.

KPMG’s team identified and presented a sector consolidation opportunity to Quadrant and facilitated exclusive discussions with a number of potential platform investment partners including St Ives Home Care. Quadrant engaged KPMG to formalise its partnership with St Ives Home Care, one of the largest providers of in-home aged care services in Australia providing thousands of hours of home care and support each year to senior residents.

KPMG professionals in mergers and acquisitions, transaction services, tax services and health, aging, and human services, advised Quadrant on its partnership with St Ives Home Care, and subsequently KPMG advised Home Care Holdings (Quadrant Private Equity & St Ives Home Care’s partnership investment vehicle) on the acquisition of Injury Treatment, a provider of customised health and occupational consulting expertise.

The KPMG team were instrumental in identifying a market consolidation opportunity in healthcare services with the view to building Australia’s largest, leading, diversified business utilising a mobile workforce to capitalise on opportunities to provide care at a distance. The KPMG team systematically approached key players to deliver a range of proprietary opportunities for Quadrant to create Australia’s leading care at a distance partnership and assisted in the creation of a well-capitalised platform to pursue a roll-up acquisition strategy. KPMG’s integrated team worked seamlessly together and with their in-depth market knowledge were paramount to the success of the transaction.
