Ebene, Monday, 7 September 2026: KPMG in Mauritius hosted a client and stakeholder engagement evening at Maritim Resort & Spa, Balaclava, bringing together business leaders to discuss opportunities shaping the future of Mauritius and Africa.
The event was held alongside the KPMG One Africa Governance Council meetings in Mauritius. It provided a platform for discussions on Mauritius' position as a leading International Financial Centre, its role as a gateway to Africa, emerging investment opportunities across the continent, and the importance of trust, governance and strong business relationships in supporting sustainable growth. Participants also reflected on Mauritius' unique ability to connect businesses, capital and talent both locally and across Africa.
The fact that the KPMG One Africa structure is based in Mauritius reflects KPMG's confidence in the jurisdiction and its capacity to serve as a platform for regional collaboration, investment and growth across the continent. This commitment underscores our belief in Mauritius as a trusted hub for business, innovation and investment, linking Africa with global markets. As KPMG in Mauritius continues to strengthen its position within the KPMG One Africa network, the event highlighted the firm's commitment to connecting clients with opportunities across the continent while delivering trusted advice and multidisciplinary expertise.
